I guess you should file lawsuits because it appears other builders have stolen your novel idea of building small houses? Didn't you file a patent for it?
No, I didn't file a patent for it, but we definitely perfected it, and definitely sell them for less then most competitors can dream of.
And our complaint was never about other people designing and building small homes - it was about our architect - Joe Irace Architecture - selling our plans to every Tom, Dick and Harry who wanted them.
Intellectual property comes in many forms, and the details and ultimate decisions of a design process is one of them.
Denise - are you as tired as I am of seeing the DIY network stealing everyone's work? I mean, I know they have a show to do, but how about a little credit where credit is deserved?
